Life or death broadband
Via Alarming News comes this little tidbit about the all-important life-or-death issues that Charles “Chuckie-babie” Schumer is focused on like a laser-beam! Life-or-death!
Bringing increased broadband to the five boroughs was treated with tremendous urgency, and perhaps no one has seized on that urgency quite like Senator Chuck Schumer, who in the press release touting the event presented universal broadband as a life-or-death issue. Literally.
“In a world that is increasingly reliant on high-speed, easily accessible Internet, not having high-speed Internet access is like not having air to breathe,” said Schumer. ~nypress.com
Get that? “Like not having air to breathe.”
As soon as this is out of the way we can get on to the all-important business of retreating from Al Qaeda in Iraq. Surrender and increased broadband to the subjects, uh, I mean voters of Schumer’s district are the priority for Democrats.
Even funnier is the comment by Marco at Alarming news:
As long as people continue to use dial-up, the terrorists grow stronger. They hate us for our lightning fast connections.
