Oh, the humility!

Plans are being made to promote a national holiday for Barack Obama, who will become the nation’s 44th president when he takes the oath of office Jan. 20.

“Yes We Can” planning rallies will be at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the downtown McDonald’s restaurant, 1100 Kansas Ave., until Jan. 13. The goals are to secure a national holiday in Obama’s honor, to organize celebrations around his inauguration and to celebrate the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb. 12 1809.  ~special.cjonline.com

Veneration moves fast in socialist dictatorships.

Obliteration to follow victory

Call it man’s intuition but I expect the left to begin an attempt to totally obliterate conservatives from the face of American politics. From media and democrat statements of the last few days I get the feeling that we will not be treated with mercy by our victors.

The media has proven that they will not only lie by omission but by commission as well; they’ve taken off their mask of objectivity and we can expect that they will not suddenly reverse course and be fair and objective. Essentially we are fighting an uphill battle against a highly fortified position.

Not only will Obama be praised at every turn his every mistake and mistep will be avoided, ignored, and covered up by the press and entertainment industry.

Republicans will be demonized and made fun of at every turn mercilessly. Public opinion will tend to be against us merely because the only information that will be fed to them will be negative. Every candidate and spokeperson will be targeted and smeared until even their mothers will despise them.

This is the political environment we can expect in the next decade or so. How can we possibly fight against that?

Already the electorate of the left is completely separated from reality. They believe without question every lie and smear fed to them. Witness Sarah Palin’s introduction to the left’s politics of personal destruction. No lie too low or untrue.

Collectivist slavery

Here we go.

The Obama Administration will call on Americans to serve in order to meet the nation’s challenges. President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in underserved schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps. Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by setting a goal that all middle school and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year and by developing a plan so that all college students who conduct 100 hours of community service receive a universal and fully refundable tax credit ensuring that the first $4,000 of their college education is completely free. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start. ~change.gov

This is the same issue that Obama mentioned before, namely to create a civilian domestic corp to rival the military.

A new hope for radical change

Today we have a new President. The question is which Obama will we get? The blank slate called change or the radical marxist who wants to fundamentally transform America? Of course, I recall last night Obama said that just by elected him we have changed America forever. *shrug*

This is depressing and I don’t hold out hope for the best going forward. This country cannot survive a real  marxist transformation. It may take 20 years for such a new New Deal to bring us the level of a third world country but I have no doubt that with total control of federal government and a willingness to create some new rules in order to keep them in power that Democrats have the balls to do it.

I see two major fronts through which Democrats will exploit their total domination. The Global Warming fear mongering is the perfect excuse to regulate the entirety of our economy. What else besides the very destruction of the planet would be a better excuse to impose to total control?

The second issue I see is gay marriage. Look for the targeting of evangelical christians and the eradication of the religious right through this issue alone. Mark my words (as Joe is apt to say) the new civil right will be the cover for a nationwide witchhunt and dismantling of Christian right institutions, churches, groups, and P.A.C.s.
